Driving passion RS4 B7 rear Diffuser
Fitting instructions
The Driving Passion custom rear valance/diffuser is designed to fit onto the factory bumper of Audi B7 (2006-2008) RS4 models - both saloon and avant.
The authentic diffuser design, that embeds into/underneath the rear bumper, is achieved by ‘embedding’ the diffuser into the space previously occupied by the original valance.
As such, fitment involves first making the required space available (by cutting away a section of the original valance), before the custom diffuser can then be overlaid and secured in place.
Professional bodyshop fitment is recommended, but DIY fitment is covered below.

The original valance must be trimmed as indicated below:

The two vertical plastic hanging brackets (one each side, that the original valance was screwed into) may need to be trimmed or adapted.

In some regions (such as the UK), the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) Antenna may need to be moved slightly.
One option is to remove the Antenna from the bracket, and then mount it higher up, in place of the bracket, as below:

The final step is to slot the diffuser on (as demonstrated at the end of the video above) and secure it in place. Mastic is recommended to bond the diffuser to the old valance, along with 1-3 screws along the lower edge (depending on whether or not you retained the original outer hanging brackets) - drill suitable holes in the lower edge for the screw(s).
